Washington State Book Award talk

On Saturday, May 11th at 3pm, I'll be at the Kirkland Library in downtown Kirkland to talk all about the making of How to Hug a Pufferfish, which won the Washington Picture Book Award for 2023! We'll learn about Pufferfish and draw a pufferfish too! I'll also be giving a sneak peek of my newest book Sandcastles are Forever and will be giving a container of kinetic sand and a mini sand mold to each child who attends, while supplies last!
